This section outlines how to create custom fields in Hudu as well as how to enable Two-Way Sync from within Lifecycle Manager.
Create custom fields in Hudu
In Hudu, custom asset fields enable Two-Way synchronization of warranty dates.

Sign in to Hudu with a System Administrator account.

Within the Hudu menu, navigate to Admin Asset Layouts

Within the Asset Layouts section, select a layout and click into it. For example, Computer Assets.
You must create two custom Date fields in your Hudu account:-
One labeled Purchase Date

One labeled Warranty Expiration Date

Click the New Field button.

In the New Field Label text entry field, enter the following information:

In the Label* field, type Purchase Date (exactly as shown)

Set the New Field label as Date.

Click the Create Field button.

Repeat steps 4 thru 6 for the Warranty Expiration Date field.

In the New Field Label text entry field, enter the following information:

In the Label* field, type Warranty Expiration Date (exactly as shown)

Set the New Field label as Date

When creating the Warranty Expiration Date field, select the Add to Expirations checkbox.

Click the Create Field button.
Once both the custom asset fields, Purchase Date and Warranty Expiration Date are created, you’ve enabled Two-Way synchronization of warranty dates.
