Understanding what you’re deleting
Before deleting any insights, it’s important to review and confirm the details of the insights you intend to remove:
-
Insight details displayed:
- Name & description: Each insight is listed with its name and a brief description, providing an overview of what each insight monitors or controls.
- Asset type: The type of asset associated with the insight (e.g., Workstation, Server, Virtual Machine) is displayed, helping you ensure that you are removing insights relevant to specific asset categories.
- Insight policies: All policies applied within the insight are listed. This breakdown ensures that you are fully aware of what each insight entails before deleting it.
Deleting an Insight
Once you have reviewed and decided which insight needs to be removed, you can proceed with deletion:
- Select the Insight: From the list of personalized insights, identify the one you wish to delete.
- Initiate deletion: Next to the insight you want to delete, click on the trash can icon. This is typically located at the end of the row corresponding to the insight you have selected.
- Confirm deletion: You may be prompted to confirm your decision. This prevents accidental deletions and ensures that you are making a deliberate choice to remove the insight.
