Hardware
Sync Assets without Serial Numbers
While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value to including these assets in your Lifecycle Manager account.
This checkbox allows you to choose whether assets without serial numbers will sync from Kaseya BMS.
Limit Sync to recently checked in assets
This option uses the last check in date from Kaseya BMS to limit the syncing of assets that have not checked in within a given amount of time.
Check the box and select an option from the drop-down menu
- 30 days
- 90 days
- 120 days
If the box is left unchecked, assets will sync into Lifecycle Manager regardless of when they last checked in.
Account Type
Checking the account type here allows you to choose whether assets will sync from clients with the corresponding account type in Kaseya BMS.
If an option is left unchecked, assets will not sync from any client with that account type.
Configure Fields
Hardware
Selecting the Lifecycle Manager Asset Type from each drop-down menu will map the corresponding Kaseya BMS Category to that hardware asset type.
For example, mapping Desktop categories to Workstation means that all your desktop assets will show up as workstations in Lifecycle Manager.
To save any adjustments to your Kaseya BMS sync settings, click Save and sync now at the bottom of the page.
Your settings will be saved and a sync will immediately begin.
