How to adjust your Microsoft Endpoint Manager - Single Tenant sync settings

Use this article to adjust any sync settings for your Microsoft Endpoint Manager - Single Tenant integration in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager. Navigate to Settings Integrations, and click Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Single-Tenant).

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (optional)

This setting ensures Lifecycle Manager will sync information about whether Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is active on the hardware assets we pull in from Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Sync data preferences

Sync only recently checked-in assets

When you enable Limit sync to assets checked in within the last, Lifecycle Manager will only import hardware assets that have recently checked in to Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

  1. Select the Limit sync to assets checked in within the last checkbox to enable on this option.
  2. Select a time frame option from the drop-down menu

    1. 30 days
    2. 90 days
    3. 120 days

Clear this option if you prefer to include older assets (or those without recent check-ins).

Two-Way Sync - Although we'd love to, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Single-Tenant) does not allow us to write back warranty dates. We hope Microsoft will add this missing functionality soon.

Sync assets without serial numbers (optional)

While we can't perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, you can check Sync assets without serial numbers to include hardware for which some details (including the serial number) may be unavailable.

  1. Select the Include hardware assets without serial numbers box

  2. Click Save and Sync now
