Bluetrait integration instructions

This article provides instructions on how to integrate Bluetrait to Lifecycle Manager.

Note: As you connect integrations, review which clients will sync into the platform.
Imported clients count toward your purchased account limit, and many integrations may sync all clients by default.
We will notify you when you are close to exceeding your client limit.		  

Who can use this feature?

  • ScalePad Hub Administrators
  • Users with Manage Sync Settings permissions in their ScalePad Hub account.
  

What you'll need:

  • Administrator Credentials for your Bluetrait account.
  

Integration steps in Bluetrait

  1. Sign in to Bluetrait
  2. Navigate to Settings API
  3. Click the Add button
  4. Enter the name of the API key. Your name could be something like Lifecycle_Manager API key.
  5. Under Access Level, select Admin.
  6. Manually copy the API Key and then click the Add button.

Integration steps in Lifecycle Manager

  1. Navigate to the Bluetrait add integration page
  2. Enter the Hostname. Your Hostname should look something like lifecyclemanager.bluetrait.io.
  3. Paste in the API Key (API Token).
  4. Click Connect now.

When you click Connect now, Lifecycle performs a full sync. When finished, you should be able to view your hardware assets in your account.
