How to adjust your ConnectWise Manage sync settings

Use this article to adjust any sync settings for your ConnectWise Manage integration in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager. Navigate to Integrations, and select ConnectWise Manage.

Enable Two-Way Sync

  1. Under Enable Two-Way Sync Fields, select the appropriate boxes to enable Two-Way Sync for these fields

  2. When you're finished, click Save ConnectWise Manage Setup.

Select company types to sync

Selecting the boxes of each corresponding company type will only sync these company types over into Lifecycle Manager.

Select company statuses to sync

Selecting the boxes of each corresponding company status will only sync these company statuses over into Lifecycle Manager.

Select configuration types to sync

Selecting the Lifecycle Manager Asset Type from each corresponding drop-down menu will map the respective ConnectWise Manage Configuration Type, to that asset type.

The blank option at the top of the hardware asset type selection is a valid choice. We recommend using the blank option for assets you do not want to map to a hardware asset type from the integration, as these assets will not synchronize into Lifecycle Manager.

For example, mapping Managed Server configurations to Server means that all your managed server assets will show up as servers in Lifecycle Manager.

Select configuration statuses to sync

Selecting the boxes of each corresponding configuration status will only sync these configuration statuses over into Lifecycle Manager.

For example, selecting Active and Provisioning configurations means only assets with those statuses will show up in Lifecycle Manager.

Sync assets without serial numbers

While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value in adding these assets to your Lifecycle Manager account.

  1. Check the Include Devices Without Serial Numbers box.

  2. Click Save ConnectWise Manage Setup.
