Missing username info

Our system has detected that the User field is not populating for some assets. In Lifecycle Manager, the User field displays the last logged-in user for an asset. The last logged-in user information can be obtained from an RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tool that collects data on user activity.

Missing username information is expected behavior if there's no integration with an RMM tool.

Missing username resolution in an RMM

If you’re using an RMM tool that supports the syncing of username data, set up the RMM to sync with your other tool. The specific steps for doing this will vary depending on the RMM you're using, so refer to the product-specific documentation or support resources for more information.

At this time, Continuum doesn't support syncing username data for workstation assets.

After syncing your RMM with your other tools, navigate to your Dashboard and click Sync now to bring our platform up to speed with the changes. The User field should populate once the sync is complete.

Missing username resolution in a PSA

If you’re solely relying on a PSA or documentation tool, the User field may not populate as expected.

To address missing usernames in a PSA, ensure that the field mappings in your PSA integration are correctly configured, as explained in the How to ensure all assets are syncing from PSA and documentation tools article.

Otherwise, the issue can be archived on the Issues page.
