The last time Lifecycle Manager synced with an affected integration, no hardware assets were returned.
The Lifecycle Manager platform displays all assets from your integration based on the last successful sync and therefore may display data that doesn't quite align with the current data in your connected integration.
Possible causes of no hardware assets being found during sync include:
-
The integrator user does not have the proper permissions to sync assets with LifecycleLifecycle Manager.
-
A dedicated user may not have been created for the integration
-
Your integration’s sync settings are preventing any assets from syncing in Lifecycle Manager.
How to resolve no assets found during sync
Following are the steps to resolve the no hardware assets found during sync issue for both RMM and PSA/Documentation tools.
For RMM integrations
-
The permissions of your integrator user must match exactly with the permissions described in the integration instructions.
-
Within Lifecycle Manager, navigate to Integrations, and click on the affected integration.
-
Verify your sync settings for the affected integration, and make sure any applicable filters, such as your check-in limit and assets without serial numbers are configured to your ideal setup, as documented in the How to ensure all assets are syncing from RMM tools article.
-
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page, to save changes.
For PSA and documentation tool integrations
-
The permissions of your integrator user must match exactly with the permissions described in the integration instructions.
-
Within Lifecycle Manager, navigate to Integrations, and click on the affected integration.
-
Verify your sync settings for the affected integration, and make sure any applicable filters are configured to your ideal setup including Configuration Types and Statuses, as documented in the How to ensure all assets are syncing from PSA and documentation tools article.
-
Verify the types and statuses in your remote system are mapped correctly to sync into Lifecycle Manager.
-
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page, to save changes.
Once you've completed the outlined steps, Lifecycle Manager syncs with the affected integration, and you will have all intended assets sync across.
If none of these actions result in solving the issue, contact our Partner Support Team at https://help.lifecyclemanager.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
If your goal is to have no assets syncing from your integration, we'd recommend removing the integration entirely, as shown in How to delete/remove your integrations.
