The members page of Lifecycle Manager is where you manage access and permissions at the product level.

While user accounts are created and managed in the Scalepad Hub, Lifecycle Manager access is granted separately within the app.

Note:
A user must first be invited to your team in the ScalePad Hub and create an account before you can grant them access to Lifecycle Manager.

For details, see Managing ScalePad Hub user access

If a team member logs into the ScalePad Hub and then tries to access Lifecycle Manager, they may see the message:
"You don't have access to Lifecycle Manager".
This means they've been added to the Hub, but haven't yet been granted access to Lifecycle Manager.

This article covers how to grant and revoke Lifecycle Manager access, and manage team member permissions.

Who can use this feature?
• Users with Administrator permissions in Lifecycle Manager

Granting access to Lifecycle Manager

Once a team member has accepted their invitation to the ScalePad Hub and created an account, you can grant them access to Lifecycle Manager.

  1. In Lifecycle Manager, hover over the settings icon (Settings icon) in the upper right of the screen.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. In the left side navigation menu, click Members.
  4. Click + Add User Access in the upper right of the screen.

  5. Use the search bar to find the ScalePad Hub User you want to grant Lifecycle Manager access to.
  6. Check the box to the left of the user's name to select them.
  7. Check the boxes to the right of the user's name to assign permissions.
    • Administrator - Full access, including member and permission management.
    • Manage Basic Settings - Reports, client settings, company branding, and asset data.
    • Place Orders - Purchasing Infrastructure Protection and Workstation Assurance, placing disposal orders.
  8. Click Grant Access.

Editing or revoking access

You can update a team member's permissions at any time

  1. From the Settings / Members page (Gear icon > Account Settings > Members) click the team member's name.
  2. Select or clear permission checkboxes as needed.
  3. Click Save.
    Edit permissions modal

To remove a team member's access to Lifecycle Manager, click the Revoke Access icon (Revoke access icon) beside their name in the Actions Column.

Revoking access removes a team member from Lifecycle Manager.

  • They immediately lose access to Lifecycle Manager.
  • Their account remains active in the ScalePad Hub.
  • They can still access other ScalePad products they've been granted access to.
  • If they're assigned to an active initiative, you'll be prompted to reassign it before their access is removed.
