Viewing client-specific Insights

Having detailed insights into each client's infrastructure is crucial for effective service delivery. Lifecycle Manager provides a framework for viewing and managing client-specific insights, allowing you to tailor your strategies to meet unique client needs. This article explores the functionalities available for viewing and utilizing client-specific insights.

Accessing Client-Specific Insights

To begin leveraging client-specific insights within Lifecycle Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Clients console:
    1. Click on Clients from the Top Menu to access the console where all your managed clients are listed.
  2. Select a Client:
    1. Choose the client for whom you want to review detailed insights by clicking into their specific entry on the Client console.

    1. From the Client dashboard, click into the predefined insights available. This could include insights related to hardware health, software updates, or any other critical areas.

Configuring and customizing Insights

The information displayed for each client insight can be customized to suit your specific monitoring needs:

  • Configurable columns: Modify the information displayed by including or excluding columns such as asset type, location, manufacturer, purchase date, warranty expiration, and more. This flexibility allows you to focus on the data that is most relevant to your decision-making processes.
  • Filtering options: Apply filters to refine the insights based on specific criteria like asset age, manufacturer, or warranty status. This is particularly useful for identifying assets that require immediate attention or are due for upgrades.

Accessing Client Dashboard from Strategic insights - Clicking into a Client from the Strategy insights displays specific insights about clients and their Digital Maturity Index.

The insight title is indicated in the drop-down menu of the asset list console.

Implementing Changes

Once issues are identified and plans are formulated, you can:

  • Add assets to Initiatives: From the detailed client hardware console, select assets and add them to existing or new initiatives, streamlining the process of managing asset lifecycles and client improvements.
  • Manage Initiatives: After adding assets to initiatives, manage these entries effectively by updating or reallocating resources as needed, ensuring that each initiative is targeted and effective.

Once you add the selected assets to an Initiative, the filtered list adjusts automatically. You can redirect any remaining assets that have yet to be added to an Initiative to a separate Initiative for warranty renewals.
