Management of team members, including their credentials, permissions, and multi-factor authentication settings, is now exclusively handled in the ScalePad Hub. Follow these updated procedures in the ScalePad Hub.
- Create New Users: Send invitations to prospective team members to join the platform.
- Managing Multi-Factor Authentication for Your Users: Enhance security by setting up MFA for additional members.
- Accessing member permissions: Adjust access levels and permissions for each member.
While ScalePad Hub centralizes user management, each product controls user access permissions. Instead of fully removing a user account, you now remove a user’s access to a specific product, such as Lifecycle Manager.
How to grant product-level member access
To manage team members in Lifecycle Manager, navigate to the Members section under Account Settings, where you can view current users and their permissions or grant new users access by clicking Add user access and selecting them from the available list of ScalePad Hub invitees. See Granting Access to Lifecycle Manager for further information.
How to revoke product-level member access
If a user no longer requires access to Lifecycle Manager, instead of deleting the user, you now revoke access. This action only removes their ability to interact with Lifecycle Manager while their overall ScalePad account remains active.
To revoke a member's access:
- Navigate to the Members section under Account Settings.
- Select the member you wish to edit.
- Click Revoke access to remove their access to Lifecycle Manager.
- Revoke access is available directly from the Action column or in the Member’s profile.
- Confirm the changes by clicking Save member.
Members with revoked access to a specific product cannot access or perform any actions within it until their access is reinstated. However, these users remain active in the ScalePad Hub and can continue to use other products, if applicable.
Assigning an Initiative new point of contact - Before any member, who is a point of contact for an Initiative, has Lifecycle Manager access revoked, you are prompted to choose a new point of contact for any Initiatives they were the assigned point of contact. Once that is complete, you can continue to revoke product access.
