DMI is a numeric scale ranging from 300 to 850, offering a measure of your client's IT infrastructure maturity. This scale helps identify the strengths and weaknesses of a client's IT environment, providing a clear path for enhancements and better decision-making.

 

DMI score bands and their significance

DMI scores are divided into five distinct bands, each indicating a different level of IT health and maturity. Understanding these bands can help you tailor your IT support and strategic planning.

Strategy Insights Dashboard DMI

  • 300 - 579 (Poor)

    • These scores indicate critical deficiencies in clients' infrastructure, possibly leading to significant operational disruptions.

  • 580 - 669 (Fair)

    • While there are significant deficiencies, there are also many opportunities for improving these clients' technology experience.

  • 670 - 739 (Good)

    • These scores indicate a generally good infrastructure but highlight notable gaps that need addressing to optimize the client experience.

  • 740 - 799 (Very Good)

    • These scores indicate a very good technical environment thanks to well-implemented IT standards, though minor deficiencies may still exist.

  • 800 - 850 (Excellent)

    • Representing the highest standard, scores in this range have exemplary IT infrastructures with no significant deficiencies.

Client Dashboard DMI

  • 300 - 579 (Poor)

    • Indicates major deficiencies in the client's IT setup, with a high likelihood of productivity challenges and downtime.

  • 580 - 669 (Fair)

    • Significant deficiencies exist that likely impact productivity and increase the risk of downtime.

  • 670 - 739 (Good)

    • This score reflects some deficiencies, though they are not as severe, with reduced chances of downtime.

  • 740 - 799 (Very Good)

    • Clients are mostly well-served by their IT infrastructure, with minimal productivity issues or downtime expected.

  • 800 - 850 (Excellent)

    • In this top tier, clients' infrastructure supports optimal productivity with downtime being highly unlikely.
