Use this guide to adjust any sync settings for your SuperOps.ai integration in Lifecycle Manager.
Navigate to Integrations, and select SuperOps.ai:
- Hover over the settings icon in the upper right of Lifecycle Manager.
- Click Integrations
- Select SuperOps
Enable Two-Way Sync Fields
These dates are queried by Lifecycle Manager and written back into SuperOps.ai.
- Under Two-Way Sync, select the appropriate boxes to enable Two-Way Sync for these fields.
- When you're finished, click Save and sync now at the bottom of the screen.
Sync assets without serial numbers
While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value to adding these assets to your Lifecycle Manager account.
You can enter warranty end dates for them manually and we do report on their OS status too.
We always recommend having all assets synced to your account to ensure you have a complete picture of your assets under management.
- Select the Sync assets without serial numbers box.
- Click Save and sync now at the bottom of the screen.
Limit sync to assets checked-in
This setting will make Lifecycle Manager only sync in hardware assets that have last checked into SuperOps.ai, within certain time frames.
- Check the box labeled Limit sync to assets checked in within the last
- Select an option from the drop-down menu
- 30 days
- 90 days
- 120 days
- Click Save SuperOps Setup.
Select client stages to sync
Depending on the client stages in your SuperOps instance, you can select the ones that you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager. Likewise, clear the types that you would prefer not to sync.
Select client statuses to sync
Depending on the statuses in your SuperOps instance, select the ones that you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager. Likewise, clear the types that you would prefer not to sync.
Select asset classes to sync
| Note: SuperOps only syncs Mac and Windows assets. Due to API limitations, network devices will not sync into Lifecycle Manager. |
SuperOps Asset Classes map to hardware types in Lifecycle Manager. For each type of asset you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager, you'll need to map the Asset Class to a Lifecycle Manager Hardware Type.
For example, Mac Machine and Windows Machine map to Workstation. Likewise, if you'd prefer not to sync a certain Asset Class, set its mapping to Don't sync.
After making any changes to the sync settings page, click Save and sync now. A fresh sync will begin immediately with your new settings applied.
