Use this guide to adjust any sync settings for your SuperOps.ai integration in Lifecycle Manager. Navigate to Integrations, and select SuperOps.ai.
Navigate to Integrations, and select SuperOps.ai.
Three settings can be adjusted for your SuperOps.ai integration:
- Only sync assets checked-in - synchronize hardware assets within a specified period of time after they were last checked into SuperOps.ai.
- Enable Two-Way Sync Fields in Lifecycle Manager
- Sync assets without serial numbers
Only sync assets checked-in
This setting will make Lifecycle Manager only sync in hardware assets that have last checked into SuperOps.ai, within certain time frames.
- Select an option from the drop-down menu
- Within past 30 days
- Within past 60 days
- Within past 90 days
- All assets (no check-in limit)
- Click Save SuperOps Setup.
Enable Two-Way Sync Fields
These dates are queried by Lifecycle Manager and written back into SuperOps.ai.
- Under Enable Two-Way Sync Fields, select the appropriate boxes to enable Two-Way Sync for these fields
- When you're finished, click SuperOps Setup.
Select client stages to sync
Depending on the client stages in your SuperOps instance, you can select the ones that you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager. Likewise, clear the types that you would prefer not to sync.
Select client statuses to sync
Depending on the statuses in your SuperOps instance, select the ones that you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager. Likewise, clear the types that you would prefer not to sync.
Select asset classes to sync
SuperOps Asset Classes map to hardware types in Lifecycle Manager. For each type of asset you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager, you'll need to map the Asset Class to a Lifecycle Manager Hardware Type.
For example, Mac Machine and Windows Machine map to Workstation. Likewise, if you'd prefer not to sync a certain Asset Class, set its mapping to blank.
Sync assets without serial numbers
While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value to adding these assets to your Lifecycle Manager account.
Although we don't perform warranty lookups directly on assets without serial numbers, you're able to enter end dates for them manually and we do report on their OS status too.
We always recommend having all assets synced to your account to ensure you have a complete picture of your assets under management. This ensures that every team member has the full insights to effectively consult and service each client.
Additional value
- Reporting on all of your managed assets
- Possible software insights information (depending on integration)
- Surfacing of critical issues and alerts
