Importing Contracts from ConnectWise Manage

Lifecycle Manager allows you to import your contracts from ConnectWise Manage.

Some specific API permissions are required in ConnectWise Manage for this feature to function. Refer to Integrating with ConnectWise Manage for detailed instructions on adding the necessary permissions.

Importing agreements from ConnectWise Manage

You can import agreements from ConnectWise Manage by following these steps on the Contracts page for a specific client:

  1. Open the Import Dialog
    1. Click Sync from PSA at the top of the Contracts page.

  2. Review Available Agreements
    1. A window lists all new or updated agreements from the client’s ConnectWise Manage account.
    2. By default, both agreements and their additions (if any) display. 
  3. Select Agreements or Additions to Import
    1. Select the checkbox next to each agreement or addition you want to import.
    2. The number of selected items appears on the Sync [x] Selected Contracts button.
  4. Performing the Sync
    1. Click Sync [x] Selected Contracts to import the chosen items into Lifecycle Manager.
    2. Lifecycle Manager converts each imported agreement (and any additions) into a contract record.
  5. Read-Only Fields in imported agreements
    1. If a contract is synced from agreements in ConnectWise Manage, specific contract fields (status, billing cost, billing cycle) cannot be edited directly in Lifecycle Manager as the syncing is 1 way. ConnectWise Manage to -> Lifecycle Manager.
  6. Enabling Auto-Sync
    1. Enable the Auto-sync from PSA toggle in the import modal to have Lifecycle Manager automatically check for agreement changes every 24 hours.
    2. The Last synced timestamp at the bottom of the modal shows when the most recent sync occurred.
  7. On-Demand Sync
    1. You can initiate a manual sync at any time (Auto-sync from PSA must be toggled off) by selecting the desired agreements/additions and clicking Sync [x] Selected Contracts again.

Following these steps ensures that your Lifecycle Manager contracts stay up to date with any changes made in ConnectWise Manage.

Note: It will take 24-48 hours for Contract data to populate in Lifecycle Manager after a successful integration.
