When a Workstation Assurance or Infrastructure protection service request is opened, you can track the status of your request through the service requests page.

This article explains how to access the Service requests page and its features.

  1. Hover over Marketplace in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click Infrastructure Protection or Workstation Assurance.
  3. Click Service requests from the left navigation panel.

Service requests are displayed in a list, with the most recent at the top.

Information about each one is displayed under the following headers:

  1. Hardware name - The name and model of the asset the request was opened for.
  2. Serial - the serial number of the asset.
  3. Problem - The title and description of the issue reported.
  4. Date opened - The date the service request was opened.
  5. Client - The name of the client the asset belongs to.
  6. Request Status - The current status of the service request.
  7. Request Summary - The information icon  brings you to the Service Request Summary page, which provides more detailed information about the request.

The Service Request Summary page

The Service Request Summary page contains more details about each service request. This is also where you'll find the Next Steps section.

Once a Workstation Assurance replacement asset has been received and confirmed to be working, select Get Started in the Next Steps section to transfer warranty coverage to the replacement.

For instructions on how to complete a service request, see Transferring warranty coverage to a replacement workstation.
