Integrating with Huntress EDR

Huntress EDR can be integrated with ScalePad to create deliverables for your clients. This article outlines the steps required to integrate this feature.

What you'll need:

  • Administrator access to your Huntress EDR instance.
 

Who can use this feature?

  • ScalePad Hub administrators
  • Users with Manage Sync Settings permissions in their ScalePad Hub account.
 

Step 1: Generating API credentials in Huntress EDR

  1. Log in to Huntress as an administrator.
     

  2. Click the context menu in the upper right corner and select API Credentials.

  3. In the User API Credentials section, click + Add to open the Create User API Credential modal.
     

  4. Select a user from the Select User dropdown. Enter a descriptive note to easily identify the API credentials. Click Add.
     

  5. Your API information is displayed. Copy the following details and keep them secure for later use:

    • API Key

    • API Secret

Note: After clicking Ok on this modal, the details will not be retrievable. You will need to delete the credentials and start again to get a fresh API Key and secret.  
  1. Click Ok after the credentials have been copied and saved.

Step 2: Adding Huntress to your ScalePad integrations

  1. Log in to ScalePad at app.scalepad.com.
     
  2. From the top navigation bar of the ScalePad Hub, click Integrations.
     
  3. Click the blue + icon to add a new integration.
     
  4. Use the search bar to find Huntress and click the Huntress tile.
     
  5. Enter the API Key and API Secret Key that was generated in Step 1.
     
  6. Click Connect now to complete the integration and allow Huntress data to be used in deliverables.
