Addigy can be added as a ScalePad integration to sync your clients and their Apple devices from your Addigy RMM into Lifecycle Manager. This article covers the steps required to add Addigy as an integration.

Note: As you connect integrations, review which clients will sync into the platform.
Imported clients count toward your purchased account limit, and many integrations may sync all clients by default.
We will notify you when you are close to exceeding your client limit.

Who can use this feature?

  • ScalePad Hub Administrators
  • Users with Manage Sync Settings permissions in their ScalePad Hub account.

What you'll need:

  • The ability to create API keys in Addigy.

Step 1: Generating your Addigy API key

Generate an API token in Addigy from Account > Integrations > API & Webhooks
For instructions, see Addigy: Getting an API key.

When choosing the permissions for the token, ScalePad requires View Devices.

Step 2: Adding Addigy as a ScalePad integration

  1. Log in to ScalePad at app.scalepad.com.
  2. In the ScalePad Hub, click Integrations.
  3. Click the Add Integration button.
  4. Use the search bar to find Addigy and click the Addigy tile.
  5. Enter the API key from Step 1 into the textbox.
  6. Set the Depth of company nodes. Addigy organizes devices in a policy hierarchy, and this setting tells Lifecycle Manager which level of that hierarchy to treat as a client. Choose the level where your client names appear in Addigy:
    • Use root as a company name
    • Use 1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th child as a company name
  7. Set the Depth of location nodes. If a level of your Addigy hierarchy represents your clients' locations, such as separate offices or sites, choose that level. Lifecycle Manager uses it to assign each device a location within its client. If you don't organize devices by location, choose Don't set a location.
  8. Click Connect now to connect your Addigy account.

Step 3: Setting your sync preferences

  1. Toggle Sync assets without serial numbers on or off.
Some hardware information may be unavailable for assets synced without a serial number.
  2. Set Limit sync to assets checked in within the last to 30, 90, or 120 days.
  3. Click Save and sync now to complete the integration.

Your Addigy clients and their devices will be available in Lifecycle Manager.

What syncs from Addigy

For each Apple device, Addigy syncs the following into ScalePad:

  • Device name

  • Hostname

  • Operating system

  • Serial number

  • CPU

  • Memory

  • Disks

  • IP addresses

  • MAC addresses
