The Hardware console shows the hardware assets you manage across all your clients in one place. It combines details like vendor and model with warranty status and replacement timing in a single table.
This article describes the Hardware console in the all clients view, which shows hardware assets across your entire portfolio rather than for one client at a time.

Accessing the Hardware console
You can find the Hardware console in the Manage section of the left navigation panel, by clicking Hardware. Where this link takes you depends on where you are: outside a specific client's pages, it opens the all-clients Hardware console described in this article. Inside a specific client's pages, the same Hardware link opens that client's Hardware view instead.

Page header
The header shows the page title, Hardware, and the total count of hardware assets across all clients.
Summary tiles
Three summary tiles show:
- Total Assets: The total count of hardware assets across all your clients, with a breakdown by asset type.
- Warranty Expired: The count of assets whose warranty has expired, plus an additional count of how many of those are due in the next 180 days.
- Replacement Due: The count of assets due for replacement, plus an additional count of how many of those are due in the next 180 days.
Search and toolbar options
A Search hardware field lets you search for a specific asset. A Filter button, a Display button, and a Download & Sharing button that opens a dropdown menu are also available.
The Download & Sharing dropdown has two sections.
Hardware Reports includes:
- Hardware Report: Downloads a PDF of the table's current columns and filters.
Spreadsheets includes:
- Current Results & Columns: Downloads your current filtered results and displayed columns as a CSV or XLSX file.
- Default Columns, No Filters: Downloads the default columns with no filters applied, as a CSV or XLSX file.
- Legacy Hardware Report: Downloads an XLSX file in the same format as previous hardware exports.
The Filter button opens a panel with four categories: Hardware Fields, Software, Warranty, and Other Fields.
Hardware Fields:
- Type: Filter by hardware type, such as Workstation or Server. Has an is/is not toggle to include or exclude your selection.
- Manufacturer: Filter by hardware manufacturer. Has an is/is not toggle.
- Memory: Filter by total memory, using minimum and maximum gigabyte values.
- Backup: Filter by whether an asset has a configured backup.
- Total Storage: Filter by total storage, using minimum and maximum gigabyte values.
- OS status: Filter by operating system status. Values are Supported, Unknown, Unsupported, and Unsupported soon.
- Processor Manufacturer: Filter by the manufacturer of the asset's processor chipset, such as Apple, Intel, or AMD. Has an is/is not toggle.
- Windows 11 CPU Compatibility: Filter by whether the asset's CPU is compatible with Windows 11.
Software:
- Software: Filter by specific pieces of software installed on assets. Has an is/is not toggle and an any/all toggle.
- Software Category: Filter by software category. Has an installed/not installed toggle and an any/all toggle.
Warranty:
- Age: Filter by asset age, using minimum and maximum year values.
- Warranty: Filter by warranty status. Values are Expired, Not Expired, and Unknown.
- ScalePad Warranty Availability: Filter by whether ScalePad coverage is available for the asset. Values are ScalePad coverage available and ScalePad coverage not available.
- ScalePad Warranty Coverage: Filter by whether the asset is covered by a ScalePad warranty. Values are Covered by ScalePad warranty and Not covered by ScalePad warranty.
Other Fields:
- Integration Sources: Filter by the integration source the asset's hardware data syncs from, from a list of all possible sources. Has an is/is not toggle and an any/all toggle.
- Person Assigned: Filter by whether a person is assigned to the asset. Values are Is assigned and Is not assigned. This filter is available even though Person Assigned isn't a column in the table (see the Hardware table section).
- In Initiative: Filter by whether the asset is included in an initiative. Values are Is in Initiative and Is not in Initiative.
Hardware table
The main table lists hardware assets across all your clients.
By default, each row shows:
- A checkbox for selecting one or more rows.

Name
The asset's name. -
Client
The client the asset belongs to. This column is required and can't be turned off. -
User
The person associated with the asset. -
Vendor
The asset's vendor. -
Model
The asset's model. -
Serial
The asset's serial number. -
Status
The asset's warranty status. Values include Active, Expiring soon, Expired, and Unknown. -
Initiative
A count of the initiatives the asset is included in. - A Context menu with row actions
Link to Initiative, Link to agreement, Edit Type, Hide in reporting, and Restore to reporting.
The Display button opens a panel where you can add more columns than the default set. Additional columns:
- Last Check-In: The last time the asset checked in to an RMM integration, if its hardware data syncs from one.
- Type: The asset's type, such as Workstation or Server.
- Processor: The asset's processor.
- Memory: The asset's total memory.
- Total Storage: The asset's total storage capacity.
- OS: The asset's installed operating system.
- Purchased: The asset's purchase date.
- Expiration: The asset's warranty expiration date.
- Renew: Whether the asset is eligible for a ScalePad warranty renewal. Values are Yes and No.
- ScalePad Coverage: Whether the asset has ScalePad warranty coverage.
The panel also includes a search field for finding a specific column in the list, along with options for grouping the table:
- None: No grouping applied.
- Client: Groups assets together by client.
- Type: Groups assets together by type, such as Workstation or Server.
- Status: Groups assets together by warranty status.
- Source: Groups assets together by integration source.
