Integrating with SentinelOne

SentinelOne can be added as a ScalePad integration to sync your clients and their devices from your SentinelOne EDR into Lifecycle Manager. This article covers the steps required to add SentinelOne as an integration.

Note: As you connect integrations, review which clients will sync into the platform.
Imported clients count toward your purchased account limit, and many integrations may sync all clients by default.
We will notify you when you are close to exceeding your client limit.

Who can use this feature?

  • ScalePad Hub Administrators
  • Users with Manage Sync Settings permissions in their ScalePad Hub account.

What you'll need:

  • A SentinelOne API token that can read agents from every SentinelOne site you want to sync.
  • Your SentinelOne API Hostname.

Step 1: Generating your SentinelOne API token and hostname

  1. Log in to the SentinelOne Management Console with an account-level administrator account (not site-level, so the token can see every site you want to sync).
  2. Click your account name in the top navigation menu, select My User.
  3. On the user detail pane, click Actions > API Token Operations > Generate API Token.
  4. Copy the token immediately, SentinelOne only shows it once.
  5. Note your API Hostname, the web address of your SentinelOne console (for example yourcompany.sentinelone.net).
Note: A SentinelOne user can only have one token, and it inherits that user's role/scope, hence the account-level requirement above.

Step 2: Adding SentinelOne as a ScalePad integration

  1. Log in to ScalePad at app.scalepad.com.
  2. In the ScalePad Hub, click Integrations.
  3. Click the Add Integration button.
  4. Use the search bar to find SentinelOne EDR in the Cyber Security category and click the tile.
  5. Enter your API Hostname and API Token from Step 1.
Enter either the bare tenant name (for example, yourcompany) or the full hostname ending in .sentinelone.net. Don't include https://, a port, or a URL path.
  6. Click Connect now to connect your SentinelOne account.
  7. Review the detected SentinelOne sites and map each one to the Lifecycle Manager client it should sync to.
  8. Click Save and sync now to complete the integration.
Note: Devices without a serial number are skipped during sync and won't appear in Lifecycle Manager.

Your SentinelOne clients and their devices will be available in Lifecycle Manager.

What syncs from SentinelOne

For each device, SentinelOne syncs the following into ScalePad:

  • Client name
  • Device ID
  • Name
  • Serial number
  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • Last logged-in user
  • Last seen
  • Last reboot
  • Model
  • CPU
  • Total memory
  • MAC addresses
  • Installed security agent
