The new Lifecycle Manager UI is in Open Beta
You might notice occasional changes as we continue to refine this feature.

Tags help you categorize assessment items, initiatives, clients, and playbooks. Your account has one shared list of tags, and each tag can be used in one or more of these areas. Once created, a tag can be applied to items and used to filter for items with that tag.

Who can use this feature?

  • Initiative tags require Lifecycle Manager Pro or X.
  • Assessment and Playbook tags require Lifecycle Manager X.
  • Tags can be created and edited by users with the Manage Basic Settings role.
  • Playbook tags also require the Playbooks - Update permission.
See Manage roles and permissions in Lifecycle Manager.

Accessing tags

  1. Click your account name in the upper left corner of any page.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. In the Settings section, under Features, click Tags.

Creating a tag

  1. On the Tags page, click + New tag.
  2. Enter a name and choose a color.
  3. Assign a color to the tag for easier identification.
  4. Under Used in, choose one or more of Assessments, Initiatives, Clients, and Playbooks. Areas you don't have permission to manage show No permission and can't be selected.
  5. Click Create Tag.

The new tag is available right away in the areas you chose.

Editing a tag

Find the tag you want to update and click any field to make changes:

  • Color
    Change the tag's color.
  • Tag
Change the name of the tag.
  • Used in
Add or remove domains that the tag can be used in (Assessments, Initiatives, Clients, Playbooks)

Changes apply automatically, and any items with the edited tag immediately show the update.

Deleting a tag

  1. Find the tag you want to remove and click its overflow menu (...).
  2. Click Delete tag.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a tag removes it from any items it's been applied to.
