You can export hardware asset data from the Hardware Console for reporting or for sharing outside Lifecycle Manager, as a spreadsheet or a report. The steps are the same whether you're exporting data for your entire portfolio or for a single client.

The new Lifecycle Manager UI is in Open Beta
You might notice occasional changes as we continue to refine this feature.

Exporting the Hardware Console

  1. In the left navigation panel, under Manage, click Hardware
    • When viewing All clients this opens the Hardware Console for your entire portfolio.
    • When a specific client is selected, this opens the Hardware console for that client only.

  2. Optional: To control what a Current view export includes, apply filters using the Filter button, or add/remove columns using the Display button.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Select an export option:
    • Spreadsheet
      • Current view (CSV)
      • Current view (XLSX)
      • Default columns (CSV)
      • Default columns (XLSX)
    • Report
      • Hardware report (PDF)
      • Legacy hardware report (XLSX)

Your file downloads once you select an option.

Choosing an export option

  • Current view
Exports the assets and columns currently displayed, including any filters you've applied and any columns you've added of removed with Display.
  • Default columns
Exports your hardware assets using the Hardware Console's default column set.
  • CSV or XLSX
Choose the format that suits how you'll use the data.
  • Hardware report (PDF)
Downloads a formatted PDF report for your hardware data.
  • Legacy hardware report (XLSX)
Downloads an XLSX file using the Hardware Console's older, fixed column layout, ignoring your current filters and columns.
