Connect Phin to Lifecycle Manager to sync security-awareness learner data and keep client records current.

Who can use this feature?

  • A Lifecycle Manager account with permission to manage integrations or Manage Sync permissions.

What you'll need:

  • A Phin Partner account with access to the Phin API.
  • A Phin API Client ID, Client Secret, and Partner ID.
  • Access to the Phin companies you want to sync.

Generate Phin API credentials

See Access Your Phin Security API and Programmatic Data.

  1. Sign in to the Phin Portal.
  2. Switch to the Partner level.
  3. Open Integrations or Partner Integrations.
  4. Select Phin API.
  5. Enable the API and generate the credentials.
  6. Copy the Client ID, Client Secret, and Partner ID.

Phin displays the Client Secret only once. Store it in an approved password manager. If you lose it, rotate the secret in the Phin Portal. Rotating the secret invalidates the previous secret and requires updating the integration.

Connect Phin to Lifecycle Manager

  1. Log in to the ScalePad Hub and click Integrations.
  2. Click + Add Integration.
  3. Search for Phin and select the Phin tile.
  4. Enter the Partner ID, Client ID, and Client Secret.
  5. Save the integration.
  6. Confirm that the connection changes to Connected or Syncing.

Lifecycle Manager validates the credentials by requesting an access token and testing the Partner ID. The integration uses Phin’s OAuth client-credentials flow and read-only access.
