How to adjust your IT Glue sync settings

Use this article to adjust any sync settings for your IT Glue integration in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.

Navigate to Integrations, and select IT Glue.


Sync archived configurations

When enabled, we'll retrieve configurations from IT Glue even if they have already been archived.

  1. Select the Include configurations that have been archived (optional) box

  2. Click Save IT Glue Setup.

Enable Two-Way Sync

  1. Under Enable Two-Way Sync Fields, check the appropriate boxes to enable Two-Way Sync for these fields

  2. When you're finished, click Save IT Glue Setup.

Select organization types to sync

Selecting the boxes of each corresponding organization type will only sync these organization types over into Lifecycle Manager.


Select organization statuses to sync

Selecting the boxes of each corresponding organization status will only sync these organization statuses over into Lifecycle Manager.


Select configuration types to sync

Selecting the Lifecycle Manager Asset Type from each corresponding drop-down menu will map the respective IT Glue Configuration Type, to that hardware asset type.

The blank option at the top of the hardware asset type selection is a valid choice. We recommend using the blank option for assets you do not want to map to a hardware asset type from the integration, as these assets will not synchronize into Lifecycle Manager.

For example, mapping Desktop configurations to Workstation means that all your desktop assets will show up as workstations in Lifecycle Manager.


Sync assets without serial numbers

While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value to adding these assets to your Lifecycle Manager account.

  1. Select the Include Devices Without Serial Numbers box.

  2. Click Save IT Glue Setup.
