How to adjust your Autotask PSA sync settings

Use this article to adjust any sync settings for your Autotask PSA integration in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager. Navigate to Integrations, and select Autotask PSA.

Enable Two-Way Sync

  1. Under Enable Two-Way Sync Fields, select the appropriate boxes to enable Two-Way Sync for these fields.

  2. When you're finished, click Save Autotask PSA Setup.

Select Account Types to sync

Depending on the Account Types set up in your Autotask PSA instance, select the ones that you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager. Likewise, clear the types that you would prefer not to sync.

When you're finished adjusting your selections, scroll down and click Save Autotask PSA Setup.

Select Product Categories to sync

Autotask PSA "Product Categories" map to asset types in Lifecycle Manager. For each type of asset you want to sync into Lifecycle Manager, you'll need to map the Product Category to a Lifecycle Manager Asset Type. For example, Switches would map to Network.

The blank option at the top of the hardware asset type selection is a valid choice. We recommend using the blank option for assets you do not want to map to a hardware asset type from the integration, as these assets will not synchronize into Lifecycle Manager.

Sync assets without serial numbers

While we're unable to perform warranty look-ups on hardware assets without serial numbers, there is value in adding these assets to your Lifecycle Manager account.

  1. Select the Include Devices Without Serial Numbers box

  2. Click Save Autotask PSA Setup
