Huntress EDR can be integrated with ScalePad to create deliverables for your clients. If you have a Huntress Managed ITDR subscription, that data can also be used to populate your Deliverables reports.
This article outlines the steps required to integrate this feature.

Note: This article captures third-party steps and/or an interface that may have since been updated.

What you'll need:

  • Administrator access to your Huntress EDR instance.
  • Huntress Managed ITDR on your Huntress subscription, if you want ITDR data to appear in your deliverable report.

Who can use this feature?

  • ScalePad Hub administrators
  • Users with Manage Sync Settings permissions in their ScalePad Hub account.

What syncs from Huntress?

What Lifecycle Manager receives depends on which Huntress products are on your subscription.

  • Huntress EDR syncs hardware and software records for every device with the Huntress agent installed, the same way an RMM integration does. EDR also populates the Huntress report in Deliverables.
  • Huntress Managed ITDR adds identity security data to the Huntress report in Deliverables. ITDR monitors cloud identities, such as Microsoft 365 accounts, so it doesn't sync any hardware.
Note: If your Huntress subscription includes ITDR but not EDR, Lifecycle Manager may display a "No hardware found" alert for the integration.
This is expected and can be ignored.

Step 1: Generating API credentials in Huntress EDR

  1. Log in to Huntress as an administrator.

  2. Click the context menu in the upper right corner and select API Credentials.

  3. In the User API Credentials section, click + Add to open the Create User API Credential modal.

  4. Select a user from the Select User dropdown. Enter a descriptive note to easily identify the API credentials. Click Add.

  5. Your API information is displayed. Copy the following details and keep them secure for later use:

    • API Key

    • API Secret

Note: After clicking Ok on this modal, the details will not be retrievable. You will need to delete the credentials and start again to get a fresh API Key and secret.
  1. Click Ok after the credentials have been copied and saved.

Step 2: Adding Huntress to your ScalePad integrations

  1. Log in to ScalePad at app.scalepad.com.

  2. From the top navigation bar of the ScalePad Hub, click Integrations.

  3. Click the blue + icon to add a new integration.

  4. Use the search bar to find Huntress and click the Huntress tile.

  5. Enter the API Key and API Secret Key that were generated in Step 1.

  6. Click Connect now to complete the integration.

After the integration syncs, Huntress data is available in the Risk Management section of Deliverables for your Lifecycle Manager X clients. To add the section to a Deliverable, see:
