Deliverables consist of sections focusing on specific areas of a client's environment, plans, or performance. This article explains how to manage those sections after a Deliverable is created: sections can be added, removed, reordered, and configured to control the data shown in each one.
To learn more about what each section is for, see About Deliverables (New UI).

The new Lifecycle Manager UI is in Open Beta You might notice occasional changes as we continue to refine this feature. |

What you'll need:
|
Accessing a Deliverable's sections
- Open the client's Deliverables page. (Client picker > client name > Engage > Deliverables)
- Click the name of the Deliverable you want to edit.
The Deliverable opens with a Sections panel on the left, listing every section already included. Click + Add Section in this panel to add a new one.
| Note: A published Deliverable can't be edited. If the Deliverable you want to change is already published, unpublish it, make your changes, then publish it again. For more on Draft and Published states, see Presenting and sharing a Deliverable (New UI). |
Adding sections
- Click + Add Section in the Sections panel.
- Review the available sections, then click the one you want to add. Sections already included in the Deliverable are greyed out and can't be added again. Sections that need an integration you haven't connected show a note that the vendor integration isn't set up.
The section is added immediately and appears in the Sections panel.
Removing sections
- In the Sections panel, click the overflow menu (...) beside the section you want to remove.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm by clicking Yes, Remove in the pop-up. This can't be undone.
Removing a section hides it from presentation mode and the PDF. The section can be added back at any time using + Add Section, though any configuration or content you'd added to it is gone and starts fresh.
Reordering sections
- In the Sections panel, click and drag a section to a new position.
- Release to drop it into place.
Alternatively, click the overflow menu (...) beside a section name and choose Move up or Move down.
The new order appears in both presentation mode and PDF exports.
Configuring individual sections
- Click a section's settings (gear) icon.
- Adjust the available content toggles, such as which data points to show or hide.
- For sections with tables, choose and reorder the columns shown.
- Under PDF options, choose whether to include a cover page or executive summary when the section is exported.
Changes save automatically as you make them, and update both presentation mode and PDF exports.
Adding a Custom deliverable section
Add a Custom section from the Sections panel to include freeform content you write or upload yourself, rather than data pulled from Lifecycle Manager:
- Rich Text - add custom text to the Deliverable
- PDF - upload a PDF to the Deliverable. Password-protected PDFs can't be used in Deliverables.
- Image - upload an image to the Deliverable
You can add more than one Custom section to a Deliverable by using + Add Section again for each one. Custom sections can be edited and rearranged after they're added, the same as any other section.
