Once a Deliverable is ready, you can present it live, share it with your client as a secure link, or download it as a PDF. This article explains how to publish a Deliverable and then present, share, and download it.

The new Lifecycle Manager UI is in Open Beta
You might notice occasional changes as we continue to refine this feature.

What you'll need:

  • A Lifecycle Manager X license applied to clients for whom you want to use Deliverables.
  • These steps assume a Deliverable has already been created. For instructions on creating one, see Creating a Deliverable (New UI).

Accessing Deliverables

  1. Click the client picker dropdown beneath your account name in the upper left of the page.

  2. Select the client's name from the list (Use the search box to find a specific client, if required).
The client's name will appear in the client picker to show which client you're currently viewing.
  1. In the Engage section of the left navigation panel, click Deliverables.
  2. Click the title of the Deliverable you want to work with.

The Deliverable opens in the editor, showing the current draft or published content.

Understanding Draft and Published states

Deliverables have two states, so you can control when they're shared and when they can be edited:

Draft

  • Intended for internal editing and review.
  • Sections and configuration can be edited.
  • Presenting, sharing, and downloading are disabled until the Deliverable is published.

Published

  • Intended for client-facing use.
  • Can be presented live, shared via a secure link, and downloaded as a PDF.
  • Editing is disabled unless the Deliverable is returned to draft.
Note: A Deliverable doesn't automatically update over time. Publishing a Deliverable creates a snapshot of the client's data at that moment. To refresh the data before sharing it with the client, return the Deliverable to draft, update it, and publish again.

Publishing a Deliverable

  1. Open the Deliverable in the editor.
  2. Review the sections and confirm the content is complete and correct.
  3. Click Publish at the top of the screen.

After publishing, the Deliverable is ready to present, share, or download. To make further edits, return it to draft using the state controls in the Deliverable header, make your changes, and publish again.

If the Publish button is disabled:

  • Check that at least one section has been added to the Deliverable.
  • Check the Sections panel for any section that's still loading or has failed to load data, and refresh or reconfigure it as needed.
  • Confirm you have permission to publish Deliverables for this client.

Presenting a Deliverable

  1. Open the Deliverable.
  2. Confirm the Deliverable is published. If it's still in draft, publish it first.
  3. Click Present at the top of the screen.

A new browser tab opens in presentation mode, showing a clean, client-facing view of the Deliverable with section navigation along the left side of the screen.

Many sections stay interactive in presentation mode rather than showing static data.
For example:

  • In Assessments, clicking an "At Risk" or "Satisfactory" row expands it to show the individual items flagged at that level.

  • In Goals, clicking a goal's expand chevron reveals its linked initiatives.

  • In Roadmap, clicking an initiative card opens a detail drawer with its status, client, owner, date, executive summary, budget, and linked items.

Sharing a Deliverable via secure link

  1. Open the Deliverable.
  2. Click the share icon in the upper right of the screen, then click Share Link.
  3. Click Generate link & password.
  4. Copy the URL and password and provide them to your client.

The share link and password each have their own Regenerate action, so you can replace one without affecting the other.

Shared links expire after 7 days. After that, new credentials can be generated if continued access is needed.

To cut off client access before the link expires, click Revoke Access. This immediately disables the existing link and password; generate a new link and password if you want to share the Deliverable again.

Downloading a Deliverable as a PDF

  1. Open the Deliverable.
  2. Click the share icon in the upper right of the screen, then click Download PDF.

A PDF is generated based on the current section configuration and downloaded to your browser's default save location.

Linking a Deliverable to a meeting

Linking Deliverables to meetings keeps meeting materials and notes in one place. Both draft and published Deliverables can be linked to meetings, and a Deliverable can be linked to more than one meeting at a time.

  1. Open the Deliverable.
  2. At the top of the screen, click Link meeting.
  3. In the Search Meetings dropdown, click the meeting you want to link. The meeting is linked immediately, and the button updates to show the linked meeting (or a count, if more than one is linked).
  4. Repeat to link additional meetings, if needed.

The Deliverable appears in the Deliverables section of each meeting it's linked to.

To remove a link, reopen Link meeting to see the Linked meetings list, then click Unlink beside the meeting you want to remove.
