The new Lifecycle Manager UI is in Open Beta
You might notice occasional changes as we continue to refine this feature.

Use your clients' Roadmaps in quarterly business reviews and planning meetings. You can present a client's Roadmap live in a full-screen, branded view, or export it as a spreadsheet or a PDF report to share after the meeting.

Who can use this feature?

How to present a client's Roadmap

Presenting opens the client's Roadmap in a new browser tab, with your company's logo and the client's name in the header. Share that tab during a video call or display it in a meeting room.

  1. Select the client using the client picker.
  2. In the Plan section of the left navigation panel, click Roadmap.
  3. Set up the view you want to show. The presentation uses your current filters, display settings and time scope.
  4. Click Present.

The presentation is the live Roadmap, not a snapshot. While you present, you can move initiatives between quarters, change their status, and open an initiative to show its details. Any changes you make while presenting are saved to the Roadmap.

A few things are different while presenting:

  • Internal initiatives are always hidden, even if you show them on your Roadmap.
  • Saved views and the table column options aren't available.
  • Changes you make to the view during the presentation don't change your own Roadmap view.

Note: You can only present one client's Roadmap at a time, so the Present option isn't available when viewing the Roadmap for all clients.

The presentation link only opens for signed-in Lifecycle Manager users, so don't share it with clients. To share a Roadmap with a client, see How to share a Roadmap with a client.

How to export a client's Roadmap

You can export a client's Roadmap as a spreadsheet or as a PDF report. Both options let you choose which initiatives to include.

  1. Select the client from the client picker.
  2. In the Plan section of the left navigation panel, click Roadmap.
  3. Click Export, then select one of the following:
    • Spreadsheet (CSV or XLSX)
    • Roadmap report (PDF)
  4. Choose the content and initiatives you want to include. (See Spreadsheet options and Roadmap report options below for more details)
  5. Click Download.

The file downloads to your computer and can be shared with your client.

You can also add the Roadmap to a Deliverable to be shared with the client. See Presenting and sharing Deliverables.

Spreadsheet options

  • Report type: CSV or XLSX
  • Initiative status: Initiatives with an unchecked status aren't included.
  • TImeline: Choose the From and To quarters. Initiatives scheduled outside this range aren't included. Select Include unscheduled initiatives to include initiatives without a date.
  • Priority: Initiatives with an unchecked Priority aren't included.
  • Initiative tags: Include only initiatives with the selected tags. Leave this area empty to include all initiatives. If you've filtered your Roadmap by tag, those tags are selected to start.
Note: If you select a custom status, the export includes every initiative in the built-in status it behaves like. For more information, see Customizing Initiative statuses.

Roadmap report options

The Roadmap report includes the same Initiative status, Timeline, Priority, and Initiative tags options as the spreadsheet, plus the following:

  • Cover page & roadmap overview
    • Cover page shows the client's Digital Maturity Index (DMI) score.
    • Roadmap overview adds a snapshot of the overall plan.
  • Additional content: Select Include budget / cost, Include asset list, or Include goals to add those details to each initiative
  • Sort initiatives by: Title or Priority

How to export the Roadmap for all clients

When you view the Roadmap for all clients, you can export initiatives across clients as a spreadsheet. A PDF report isn't available for the All clients Roadmap.

  1. Clear the client picker so you're viewing all clients (select All clients).
  2. In the Plan section of the left navigation panel, click Roadmap.
  3. Click Export.
  4. Choose the Report type (CSV or Excel), then choose the initiatives you want to include:
    • Initiative status, Timeline, and Priority work in the same way as the single client spreadsheet.
    • Client, Account team, Segment, and POC narrow the export to the selected values. Leave a filter empty to include all.
  5. Click Download.

The export only includes clients you have access to.
