About Assessments (New UI)
Assessments let you evaluate a client's IT environment against a defined set of categories and items, score the results, and use those findings to guide conversations and recommendations. This article introduces how assessments work in the new Lifecycle Manager UI and points you to the specific how-to articles you'll need.

What is an assessment?
An assessment is a structured evaluation of a client's IT environment, built from a template. Each template organizes items into categories, and each item captures a response, such as Yes, No, or a choice from a custom list. As you complete an assessment, Lifecycle Manager scores it based on the responses given and the weight assigned to each category and item.
Once complete, an assessment's results can be reviewed on its own results page, downloaded as a report, or added to a client-facing Deliverable.
Accessing assessments
Assessments are available from two places, depending on whether you want to see everything at once or focus on a single client:
-
Global Assessments page
Shows every assessment across all your clients. Use this page to get an account-wide view of assessment activity. -
Client Assessments page
Shows only the assessments that belong to a specific client. Use this page when you're focused on one client's environment.
You can create, conduct, and manage assessments from either page.
